About the Content Calendar Generator
A content calendar turns "what should I post?" into a list you can follow. This generator places posts on real dates, rotates your content pillars so you do not repeat one theme, and assigns a format and a call to action to each slot.
You can export the plan as a CSV file for spreadsheets or as an .ics file to import into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. Dates are calculated without reference to your time zone, so the plan is the same wherever you open it.
How to use it
- Enter your topic and choose a start date.
- Pick how many weeks to plan and how many posts per week.
- Optionally list your own content pillars, and tick the formats you can produce.
- Build the calendar, adjust anything that does not suit you, then download the CSV or calendar file.
Tips for better results
- Add real dates that matter to your audience, such as launches, holidays or events, over the top of the generated schedule.
- Keep a gap day or two each week. A calendar with some space is easier to follow and leaves room for reacting to something timely.
- Review what you posted at the end of the month and rewrite your pillars. Drop themes that do not work and give more slots to those that do.
