About the Text Formatter and Case Converter

Small text jobs come up constantly when you plan content: fixing a caption typed in capitals, turning a list into numbered lines, or removing the stray line breaks from copied text. This tool bundles the common ones.

Choose an action, apply it, and copy or edit the result. You can apply another action to the output as many times as you like.

How to use it

  1. Paste your text.
  2. Choose an action from the list.
  3. Press Apply.
  4. Copy the result, or edit it and apply a second action.

Tips for better results

  • Keep your original text in the box and read the result below it. That way you can apply a different action to the same source without losing anything.
  • Run "Remove line breaks" before "Sentence case" on text copied from a PDF. PDFs often break lines mid-sentence, which confuses case conversion.
  • Use "Remove duplicate lines" on keyword and hashtag lists, then "Sort lines" to make a clean master list you can reuse.
  • Names, brands and acronyms can be changed by case conversion. Check proper nouns before you paste the result into a post.

Example

With these inputs:

  • Your text: new RECIPE every friday
  • Action: Sentence case

the tool produces output like this:

New recipe every friday

Who it is for

  • Cleaning text copied from documents.
  • Numbering a list for a carousel.
  • Removing duplicate lines from a keyword list.

Limitations and accuracy

  • Title Case follows a simple rule and may not match every style guide.
  • Sentence case lowercases everything else, including names.
  • Results may change meaning if names or acronyms are lowercased.

Frequently asked questions

Is my text uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is processed in your browser.

Can I undo an action?

Keep your original in the input box. The result appears separately, so the input is unchanged.

Does it handle emoji?

Yes. Emoji pass through unchanged.

Why is Title Case not perfect?

Style guides disagree about which small words stay lowercase. This tool keeps common ones such as "and", "of" and "the" lowercase, but you should check headings that matter.

Can I use it on long documents?

Yes, up to 20,000 characters at a time. For longer text, work in sections.
